Vanna Bonta is a regular client of Marty Rathbun.
Bonta likes to describe her own spiritual progress as “a steaming dog turd on a white rug”. This statement alone gives a sense for the kind of person she is.
Bonta made her first money by borrowing from a CIA nab named Joseph Turner, after meeting him at a massage parlor, called Lady Jane’s, where she worked as a teenager.
Turner, married with kids, then flew her around the world. As Bonta tells the tale, “He was leaving for Hong Kong to work with weapons to ensure that psychotic leaders in underdeveloped countries did not get the bomb.”
Bonta has a long history of stirring trouble wherever she lands. Turner supposedly was so enamored by Bonta that he was willing to use his position to secure special favors for her.
Bonta is known for using and abusing her relationships to get money, just like she did with Turner. While married, Bonta explained how her husband should be happy about her affair with Turner: “He (her husband) has enjoyed the benefits of Joe’s [Turner] financial aid to me.”
